Earlier this week, the Obama Administration announced achange to the
Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) overtime rule and increased the exempt
employee annual salary threshold to $47,476 beginningDec 1, 2016.
Postdoctoral researchers are included in the new rule as exempt employees.
