很多人都是用levels，为啥，是因为好几只老鼠？ |

我的老板是个德国人，写文章时几乎所有名词都要复数，cells,datas,and so on.
在其他人的文章里面，我看到的情况就相反，复数的少。我觉得主要是个人习惯。
当然很多时候单复数是要严格分开的，mice vs mouse, |

When you are talking about the level of hormone A, by default it means, in
general, or in other words the average level, so there is no need to put
plural form just due to "mice". |

.." is the appropriate one. |
