teaching opportunities (Part-time adjunct immediate openings: Intro Biology
& Membrane Biology)
Towson University Dept of Biological Science is looking to fill the
following positions for Spring 2012, due to a visiting professor
leaving unexpectedly:
1. Membrane Biology Instructor
Towson University invites applications for a part time, temporary
adjunct faculty appointment in the Department of Biological Sciences
starting spring 2012. The successful candidate will teach BIOL616, a
graduate level membrane biology class. The class meets Tuesday
evenings from 6:00 – 8:50 PM. The successful applicant must have a PhD
in a related field. University level lecture teaching experience is
preferred.
2. Introductory Biology Instructor
Towson University invites applications for a part time, temporary
adjunct faculty appointment in the Department of Biological Sciences
starting spring 2012. The successful candidate will teach BIOL201, an
introductory class in cellular biology and genetics for majors. The
lecture meets Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:30 – 10:45 am. There is
also the possibility of teaching an associated laboratory session from
11:00 – 1:45 on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays. The successful
applicant must have an MS or PhD in a related field. University level
lecture teaching experience is preferred.
