Position Title: Postdoctoral Fellow
Duties & Responsibilities: The Department of Bioinformatics and
Computational Biology in the Division of Quantitative Sciences has one
post-doc position open for bioinformatics/biostatistics research. The
main responsibility is research and publication. The primary focus will
be to develop statistical methods for analyzing high-throughput genomic
data and cancer risk prediction. We are also interested in statistical
analysis of missing data and correlated data. The postdoctoral fellow
will work under the supervision of Dr. Wenyi Wang.
Position Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in
statistics/biostatistics/bioinformatics or related quantitative fields;
strong programming skills; experience in analysis of microarray or next-
generation sequencing data. Expertise/Skills in the following areas are
desirable: cancer biology, Bayesian computation in C/C++ and R, mixture
models and missing data.
Salary Range: $65,000.00 annual salary |

yes, if you are good at programming, C++, statistical modeling, I can get
you a job with 85K+, and you don't even need a PhD degree :)

well, many people claim 会programming and C++, but they only know the
programming language itself, don't know much data structure/algorithms and
never develop any serious stuff. If you think that you are good enough
for hard core programming job, feel free to send me resume.
