Lou at the University of Nebraska. We are looking for a highly motivated
person with a PhD degree in molecular biology, biochemistry or related
fields. Applicants with cell biology skills are preferable. Possible
projects will be related to the functional of thiol oxidoreductases (
glutaredoxin and thioredoxin) in oxidation damage repair and their role in
cell signaling, using eye tissue as a model.
Employment opportunities are available at different levels depending on
experience.
The laboratory is heavily funded by NIH and affiliated with the world-wide
recognized Redox Biology Center located in Lincoln. Redox Biology Center
offers state of the art proteomics, metabolomics, high-throughput sequencing
, spectroscopy and bio-imaging facilities. University of Nebraska is ranked
as 40th out of 164 public universities in USA. Lincoln is a capital of
