shall boil down to interview and
projects...nonetheless it would have been nicer/convincing if at least one
was not(don't have to be a top
journal but need to be a decent study)...that said, it doesn't matter much..
.after all, biology is still money and
resources and passion talks, the rest doesn't matter as much unless one only
aims for the big prize or
breakthrough...

is not amazing...
the second position co-1st of Nature Med is much better.
Just surprised to find he has no real 1st author paper in the 8 year
postdoc career, even the 1st position JI paper is co-author with others?
Is that weird?
Anyway, no question he is still strong

研究所自身的学科建设需要+申请者的 research plan 才是最重要的.
文章到一定的水平就过得去了, 至于一作和共同一作哪个 independent
的潜力大, 真还从排名上看不出来, 哪位大牛可以根据这个判断一个人
独立研究的能力, 我倒是要佩服一下, 共同一作的排名我觉得很多时候
就是利益分配的结果. |

老板的理由是co一作的位置按照字母顺序排列, 一点都不奇怪.

的契合度也非常重要.
我相信 xiaodong 的眼光应该不会差, 如果xiaodong招人靠数paper, 那要他回去当
所长做甚? 初中生都可以了.
