3-D distribution, but the laser energy is not good for perserve of
your sample. Aslo, flurorescent staining is necessary because it doesn't
do bright field image.

deconvolution takes whole image and use algorithm to clean up
the pic.
as to which one is better, it is definitely a case by case thing, I did
whole mount life sample on confocal once, it was ok... I never
tried it over deconvolution though.
some deconvolution can give a pseudo image after strong calculation, however,
it will totally be your call as to take it or not. |
