Great News! I am very pleased to report that the House of Representatives ju
st voted to pass the FY2007 Joint Funding Resolution, which includes a $620
million increase for NIH, and provides significant increases to the National
Science Foundation ($335 million increase) and the Department of Energy's O
ffice of Science ($200 million increase). The Senate is expected to take up
the measure next week. However, it's widely expected that the Senate will fu
