on a 90-minute chase that streaked through the East Bay, authorities said.
The pursuit ended at about 11:15 p.m. when officers deployed a "spike strip"
on Interstate 80 near Gilman Street in Berkeley, which flattened the right
front tire of the truck. Peterson fled on foot from the vehicle but was
captured shortly thereafter, authorities said.
