在上帝的话语中安息
经文: 「我信靠祢的话。」（诗一一九42）
我们信上帝的话有多少，就是我们的信心有多少。信心与感觉、影像、可能性
、眼见都无关。如果我们把它们与信心并列，我们就是不信上帝的话。因为信心用不着
这种东西。信心是单信上帝的话。当我们凭祂的话抓住祂的时候，我们的心就得到了安
慰。
上帝乐意锻炼我们的信心，为着我们个人的益处、教会的益处、世人的益处。
但是这种锻炼，我们非但不欢迎，反常躲避。当试炼临到我们的时候，我们应当这样说
：「我的天父把这试炼的杯放在我手中，为要叫我将来享受甘甜。」
试炼是信心的粮食。让我们把我们自己交在我们天父的手中罢！因为祂乐意赐
好处给祂的孩子。
不只试炼和困难能锻炼、加增我们的信心；读经亦然。读经使我们熟识上帝，
与上帝成为至交，因为上帝在圣经中显露、启示祂自己。
你能否说上帝是可爱的上帝呢？如果你还不能，让我们挚诚的心来劝你
