Two basic reasons that the Rox do the Mutombo trade are:
1, clear out roster spots for the future big man
2, get a backup center for YM
But the 10-15 mininuts backup center time can't totally rely on this old man.
If Motumbo could stay healthy, he is a perfect backup center in the league.
But what if he got injured?
No one else on the current rockets roster is a real backup C.
Yes, you could play small lineup inthe game, but not 12 minutes a game and 40

时间只长不短，又没有什么特别值得注意的伤病，
非说他打不了每场十到十五分钟有点儿牵强。
即便老木伤了，火箭也不是完全无人可用，霍华德
可以打C，当然他不是正牌C，可是在FA里还有
能用的C么？老木老归老，数字还是在那儿的。
再退一万步讲，就算老木一点不能用，他是一年合同，
明年就有四五百万的空间，用两三个根本不能用
的球员换来一个能打的球员，而且没有长合同的风险，
这生意不赚就没得赚了。
