Isaiah Thomas was expected to miss the remainder of the Los Angeles Lakers’
road trip, which ends on Monday, with hip soreness but recent reports
suggest he could be out a little while longer. Thomas returned from an
injury that kept him out for nearly eight months in January, but after
deciding not to have surgery on his torn labrum, Thomas seems to be
experiencing some discomfort in that same hip area. Thomas has looked a step
slow since returning from injury and that could be because his hip hasn’t
healed properly. Thomas has appeared in 17 games for the Lakers and might
have played his last if a doctor suggests surgery or a form of
rehabilitation that would be keep him out for the rest of the regular season
