发帖数: 5100 | 1 I’m perplexed by the level of hate Lebron gets, and I’m sure will get in
this comment section as he always does. I’m not calling him the GOAT or
saying he’s a perfect player or that he hasn’t had trouble closing things
out. It’s just the level of vitriol and negativity and picking apart this
guy gets seems unmatched to me, especially in context of what he says & does
. This is coming from a Boston guy, someone who was driven mad by this guy
as a player in the late 00’s/ early 10’s.
I read/watch his interviews and I think this is a reasonably thoughtful and
well spoken, and fairly open & honest dude. Not a martyr mind you. Not
perfect & not incapable of some salty, sore digs. But the reaction I see
from people makes me think “Jesus, did we read the same thing?” It’s the
same people excoriating LeBron who seem eager to praise Durant, which I can
’t get around to either. Now if you want to say they’re two sides of the
same coin & what Durant did was just a natural evolution, that’s fine. But
I don’t get how you can so blindly hate LeBron that you’ll say “see,
without all-star teammates he’s garbage, less than D League” and yet
simultaneously exalt KD.
I wonder if it has something to do with the natural pushback people seem to
have when we’re told ZYX will be the best thing ever, as we were from the
start with LeBron. But it’s unnerving how out of whack people get about
this dude, when they should be at least trying to appreciate a truly once-in
-a-blue-moon talent/player. | B*****e
