-Q: What was your feel for Steve Kerr in this? What was your relationship
with him like before this?
-DURANT: One thing that stood out to me was All-Star Game in 2015, he did
something that I hadn’t ever seen before. And I thought it was unique.
He had his video guy come in right before the All-Star Game and he showed
pictures of every one of the players–he showed a picture of James [Harden],
Russell and I and he said one thing that stood out.
He said, ‘I know you guys played a lot together; you’re not on the same
team any more, but I know it’s going to bring back a lot of memories. We’
re going to put you guys on the court together.’
That made me feel like he had things in perspective and we could talk about
basketball, his X’s and O’s, but that stood out to me. That shows the type
