the ball is in their hands, Kelvin Sampson simply states that he has to
give the ball to his best player [Harden] meaning Lin is not even in the
discussion to be considered as a playmaker. Rockets' coaching staff don't
think Lin worth the investment even the team is spending 25mil on him in the
next three years. What they are doing right now is to maximally expose Lin'
s weakness so he will be out of league once he can no longer bing them the
money from the asian market.

performance. He improved the defense and his left hand skills significantly
in the summer, and he'll figure out how to shoot 3s soon. |

发帖数: 1814 | 10 Well said! I will support Lin no matter what. But the reality is you have to
have some unique physical and/or skillset to survive in this league. Even
though he improves his 3s and defense, there are plenty good shooters/
defenders out there and there is no way he can compete with them. The way I
see it is that you cannot be a nice guy doing everything you are asked to do
and waiting for someone to bail you out. That's exactly what happens to
most of the asian people in this country. Working hard is not the only way
that can grant you a success. You have to be tough or even mean to fight for
yourself. Lin has a huge upside and he can only improve if he has the right
coach who trusts him and has faith on him. Its unfair to sign him a big
contract and put him in a deep hole bearing all the pressure and criticism.
Lin has to man up and get his confidence back! Remember what you said to the
media after D'Antoni stepped down last season? "I just want to make sure I
don't change the approach!" Go, Lin!!!
