Also Thursday morning, Dwyane Wade reacted to Kobe Bryant's statements from
Wednesday night, downplaying the All-Star Game foul that broke Bryant's nose
and caused a minor concussion.
Bryant told reporters in Los Angeles: "It was very simple. He didn't mean to
do it. It's just something that just happens. He's not that type of person."
"I didn't play to the added drama and Kobe didn't either," Wade said. "Kobe
knew there was no ill intent on my part. We have a pretty good relationship,
it is just one of those things. Maybe he put it to rest, maybe he didn't. (
Sunday's) game is going to be competitive no matter what."
