it's in the rule book so it would be a shame if they don't call it based
on the rule
He was in that particular position so whatever he did would be "obstruction".
So the blame should be directed to the catcher who threw the ball in a way
that Middlebrook was forced to that particular position to try to catch
the ball.

Whether or not Middlebrook could have some other way to not obstruct does
not matter. He obstructed the runner, that's it.

afterwards.
for this case, nobody in the postgame interview said this was a wrong call
