the Cardinals on Wednesday.
The Red Sox are 6-0 this postseason with Gomes in the lineup, so manager
John Farrell has decided against starting Daniel Nava, even with
right-hander Adam Wainwright on the hill for the Cardinals.
The full Boston lineup:
Jacoby Ellsbury CF, Shane Victorino RF, Dustin Pedroia 2B, David Ortiz DH,
Mike Napoli 1B, Gomes LF, Xander Bogaerts 3B, Stephen Drew SS, David Ross C.
Jon Lester will start the game for Boston.
