our gm refused to offer him a contract, citing his poor hitting last year.
Hitting is just one thing he does. He plays gold glove defense, runs great
on the base path, and like you said, he's got great intangibles. He's the
type of player that's really easy to root for. Well, our gm is why we have a
170 million team yet failed to reach postseason twice in a row.
Bitching aside,'need to point out that Shane donated close to 5 million
dollars to build a children activity center in Philly. Great guy all around.
