发帖数: 5546 | 3 Mike Gonzalez is a former closer who blew away a lot of lefty
hitters, because he's also lefty. I'd put Oliver over Gonzalez
if those 2 lefties were Fielder and Ortiz. It would also make
sense if Cards had any righty to pinch hit, but there was NONE.
Washington makes decisions with his guts--this is his own words.

in the game, that bunt double play with no out. Moving runners
is good. But he already got a runner at scoring position. With
Pujols and Freese cheating so badly, he should have ordered a
strikeout.
Also, Feldman is really a starting pitcher by definition. Rather
than asking him to inherit runners, give him a clean inning to
start with so that he could be in a better position to succeed.
It is not manager's job to pitch or hit. But he needs to make
sure the team has the best odd to win. Washington and Rangers
lost a great opportunity today.And that opportunity probably
will not come back.
