But this year NYY are more even, Grandy, Cano, Swisher are much better,
consistently. Jesus and Jorge are kinda as clutch as Matsui in 09.
So the X-factor, still, is ARod

point, the playoff is the time for him to blow, the same could apply to CC..
.but Tigers would be more devastated if Verlander could not hold on than CC
