This morning, while in shower, I heard Mike and Mike debate the role of star
players in basketball and football. Their consensus was that in basketball,
star player is evaluated by the number of championships he is able to win
in his career; while in football, only quarterbacks are subject to this
standard. My consequent question regarding baseball is, who plays the most
important role in baseball? Star players, managers or others?
