and his wretchedly incompetent 1962 New York Mets, an expansion team that lost
120 games.
The book's theme could have applied to Game 1 of the 2004 World Series at
Fenway Park, where the Red Sox ended their Larry, Curly and Moe slapstick
fielding routine in time to claim an 11-9 victory.
