发帖数: 102 | 9 Almost correct - AMEX charges 2.7% as foreign transaction fee on top of the
regular currency conversion. So this FTF is slightly lower than that of Visa
or MC (3% typically).
However, in rare cases, if the merchants charge in US dollars, this FTF will
be waived. But good luck with that in China - maybe at some duty free shops

conversion rate
and you know what, sometimes they still enter RMB in the system
you are risking of being ripped off twice
so, just check out using their local currency
