I bring my laptop to usa but the plug cant be used here,the voltage and
frequency are ok but the shape is different. I go to radioshack and computer
usa today but cant find the power adapter. I asked many Chinese students here
but they dont know where to find it either. I need many important files in it
now and it almost drives me crazy. Is there anybody can give me some
suggestions?
If you can get such adapter, Could you mail it to me? I will pay the cost.
BTW, Is there any bupters in utk? |

i think the adapter is very easy to find in any shops.
i am not sure what happened in your place. but i know that it is
very cheap like 2 or 4 bucks here in Walmart in CA.
I think you could find one there or check on line, inputing the
key word.
there are many Chinese in every school, even small one.
so you are able to find some in your school too.

在这边买大体是没戏了.

the type "v212" here. http://www.familyonboard.com/voltageconverters.html
I am in Knoxville now and the employee of hardware shop suggest me to order a
new cable and it will cost more than $90...
I will go to Walmart next day, hope to find it there.

发帖数: 476 | 6 what's your brand/make of your laptop, if the AC side cable of power transformer
can be detached like my inspiron and thinkpad, you could get a seperate power
cable from radio shack for less than 5 bucks. if that's not detachable, you
could probably either get a new power transformer or get some travel package.
last time i checked osh hardware here, they do have plug adapter to convert
british style to american style. or the simple solution is to get someone
in EE department to make you one. :-)

你可以在ebay买到。
