Two Ph.D. student openings in Prof. Guangzhi Qu's research lab http://www.secs.oakland.edu/~gqu/ will be available starting Fall Semester of 2013. Successful applicants will do research in the areas of healthcare/medical informatics.
The ideal candidate should have:
1. completed M.S. degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering;
2. high motivation and commitment to research;
3. strong programming and analytical skills;
4. related research experience, which is a plus, not required.
