for our major, it's not easy to be laid off, just be clever enough to smell
around, get me?
For me, I'm not worried at all, I can transfer to F1 (good relationship with
school advisor), or transfer to H4 (don't wanna do this, since H4 is also
taken into account the 6 years of maximum H visa period...sb. said it doesn't
matter, who knows)
Don't worry tooooo much. In 2001, I bought my air ticket in May for Aug 14th

classmates went for job hunting already, only one girl wants to continue to
study PhD in UT-Austin. If I can't get a job, I'll stay here for PhD. :P
Yesterday I sent out 3 resumes, but I haven't got any response yet. I will try
more in the future. Could you tell me some websites for job hunting? I only
tried Monster and Hotjob.

Job hunting is pure luck these days, you can try intern first if you can get
CPT. Intern definitely worth a try!!!!!!!!!!

hehe, anyway, I am trying to improve my English during my PhD study. My oral
English is not good enough for job hunting now. I need to spend another 2 or 3
years to improve my English and get a deeper understanding of transportation.

Do you think you can improve your English faster than what you do during
work?!
1. If you can find a job now, then go for it, or give it up and continue your
PhD after your serious thinking;
2. If you can't, then just continue your PhD, with no worry or pressure.
In this way, you won't regret in your later PhD years, right? Also, are you
dead sure that transportation is what you'll concentrate on for the rest of
your life? :P
You and Bao both need to think about such things :-)

He will transfer to another school, but I am too lazy to transfer :P
I am cumulating energy and hope I can burst my energy in the future.

think they may still in the process of job hunting. But I know one thing for
sure is that it's also difficult for them to get jobs in Houston. @_@
BTW: Lv is tavelling to Bay area, Canlifornia. Maybe he'll get a job in
