General requirements include program management from contract award through
service after sales. Provide the integration of all management activities,
from both a technical and business perspective,
required to bring a signed contract to its desired conclusion. Perform the
functions of planning, controlling and monitoring of programs, employing the
management techniques of budgeting, measurement, variance analysis,
reporting and corrective action.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide administrative and technical supervision and guidance to assigned
program managers to support their professional growth.
2. Direct and coordinate the development of technical and cost proposals
compliant with program work scope as defined by customer requirements.
3. Support proposal negotiation activity to provide a contract with maximum
opportunity for profit to the company.
4. Develop functional work statement and budgets and coordinate with
performing the company organizations.
5. Serve as the primary interface with the customer in all technical,
performance and financial matters.
6. Develop and prepare Internal Management Reviews and support customer
meetings and presentations.
7. Monitor the company contract performance and expenditures and prepare
financial analysis and reports in accordance with corporate procedures.
8. Assure that all contract delivery dates are met including technical
efforts and data items, and that all supporting documentation is furnished
to the customer.
REQUIREMENTS:
• BS in Engineering / Business Administration or related discipline
• Minimum 12 years relevant experience
• Knowledge of FAR, DFAR is a must
• FMS (Foreign Military Sales) experience is a must
• Aircraft avionics program experience
• Defense fighter aircraft program experience is preferred
