The purpose of directional tires is to expell water out of
the tread better. If you rotate the wheel along its radius
by 180 deg, and the tread pattern does not change, it's non-
directional tire. If the tread patterns on the inside and outside
are mirror image to each other, and you see triangle/arrow
shaped pattern pointing toward the wheel rotation direction,
the tire is directional. This is not the same as the directional
mark on the side wall. Some directional tires do not show the
