Carfax doesn't tell you any mechanical problems. It only
helps
you identify vehicles that have been totalled (per insurance
company claim), stolen and recovered, and so on ----
something
that would leave a record in the DMV. A car
with "clean CARFAX record" can be a complete piece of junk.
Most cars in local junkyard have clean records too, as long
as they were never stolen, or got into a serious accident
AND
the owner reported to the insurance company. |
