我们先联系了prosecutor（一个laywer兼职的）说要plea
对方开始很简单的一句话问了一下什么ticket 然后还是两三句话说不扣钱是多少钱
我们没有理
结果今天发来一长串
Although this is a municipal ordinance, New Jersey Motor Vehicles may access
3 points against your license (since NJ State statutes for improper turns c
arry 3 points). It doesn't happen every time, but it does sometimes (I would
estimate about half the time).
If you want to be guaranteed to get no points, I can change the violation to
Unsafe Driving. Unfortunately the State adds a $250 surcharge to the no poi
nt ticket. It totals $440 for a first offense.
A left turn from Elm is a very easy ticket to prosecute. There are three sig
ns that state that the turn is prohibited. The fine if you have a trial is u
p to $240.
If you plead guilty to the ticket as is, and risk getting points, the fine w
ould be $57 + costs of $33.
If you want the no point ticket, I will check and make certain you are eligi
ble.

If you are holding a NY license, the points won't impact NY license holder. |
