PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A head-on collision in Washington County on Monday
-- a crash where alcohol is believed to be a factor -- resulted in two women
being transported to the hospital, including one by helicopter.
Washington County deputies said a 2006 Chrysler Sebring, driven by 40-year-
old Shannon Cravens, crossed from the northbound lane of Northwest Cornelius
Pass Road into the southbound lane, striking a 2015 Toyota 4Runner head on
at 3:44 p.m.
Cravens was transported to a hospital by helicopter with critical injuries.
Rebecca Field, 50, the driver of the 4Runner, had to be removed from her
vehicle by crews before she was transported to the hospital with serious
injuries. |
