看了下租车公司的Fusion，基本都在$13K以上，加上税杂费之类的基本不可能搞定了。
所以只能看CL了，看到Fusion还有Energi的。二手Energi会不会因为电池老化需要各种
花钱修？但是Energi能够走Carpool还挺好的。

考虑13年的主要是因为15年会贵1~2k。既然车型没区别和电池耐用的话，就直接买13年
的了。
还有个问题就是hybrid真的能省很多油费吗？会不会走carpool省的时间更值钱

只有一个掉了方向盘，你“朋友”是哪个？掉了方向盘那个？
相比较而言，丰田垃圾掉方向盘的数量多了去了，还让用户自己掏钱修里
另外丰田垃圾每个车型都有刹车失灵，自动加速投诉

Federal regulators have intensified an investigation into the sudden loss of
power steering on the 2010 Ford Fusion, according to a report on the
website of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
In the report the agency said it began investigating the issue in September
2016 after receiving 547 complaints from owners. They complained that “
significantly increased driver effort is required to maintain directional
control of the vehicle.”
Since then NHTSA says it found about 2,200 complaints to either the agency
or Ford. There were also reports of 13 accidents resulting in seven injuries
, the extent of which was not noted.
One of those complaining was a Florida owner who wrote the agency in 2013.
“Very dangerous issue!! I have been letting my daughter, who is a new
driver, use this car. I am not rethinking it. Might have to sell the car and
buy a safer car for her.”
The agency said those findings merit advancing its inquiry from a “
preliminary evaluation” to an “engineering analysis.” The engineering
analysis is more likely – but not certain – to lead to a recall.
In 2015 Ford recalled about 393,000 models for a sudden failure of the power
steering. That followed an investigation by the agency triggered by owner
complaints. The automaker blamed “an intermittent electrical connection

FEDERAL safety regulators have received over the last four years about 150
complaints with a common theme from owners of the 2012 Ford Focus: The power
steering can turn off, leaving the driver with a harrowing encounter as the
car becomes difficult to maneuver.
In addition, regulators have received 124 reports from Ford Motor of
injuries or deaths attributed to what was broadly termed a steering problem.
One crash was fatal, Ford reported.
Regulators have not opened a formal investigation into the issue, and Ford
has not taken any action beyond twice alerting dealers to potential problems
with the power steering.
For the drivers involved, the loss of power steering could be terrifying.
“I was driving in the Interstate going about 65 miles per hour with my
child in the car,” a mother from Indiana wrote to the National Highway
Traffic Safety Administration in October. “My power steering went out. A
semi was right next to me, and I almost went off trying to keep from hitting
it.”
John Cangany, a Ford spokesman, said via email: “We take the safety of our
customers very seriously. When data indicates a safety recall is needed, we
move quickly on behalf of our customers.”

Having 124 claims of injuries or deaths “ranks fairly high when we look at
steering reports on specific models,” Gordon Trowbridge, a spokesman for
the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, wrote in an email. But
he said that “it is worth keeping in mind that the Focus is a fairly high-
volume model.”
About 297,000 2012 Focus models are registered in the United States,
according to Experian Automotive, a research firm.
Mr. Trowbridge said the death of an 89-year-old woman in New Hampshire in
September 2014 was investigated, and the agency concluded that “a steering
failure is most likely not implicated.”
He said N.H.T.S.A. also reviewed 10 of the injury reports and found that
eight of them appear “to be related to trim on the steering wheel that has
peeled loose and caused cuts to drivers’ hands, as opposed to failure of
the steering mechanism.”
He added that a large number of the owner complaints involved the loss of
steering when the vehicle was started, not when it was underway when it
might pose a problem.
Some safety experts said that both Ford and regulators should be more
aggressive in dealing with the issue.
Allan Kam, a former senior enforcement lawyer at the agency who is now a
consultant in Bethesda, Md., said that receiving about 150 owner complaints
should have prompted an investigation. “That strikes me as a large number
even for a mass-produced vehicle,” he said. The agency has opened
investigations with as few as five complaints.
Mr. Trowbridge said in an email, “in general, frequency is only one of the
factors that the agency considers when examining an issue.”
Joan Claybrook, a former head of the agency, who now works as a safety
advocate, said that Ford’s report of more than 100 injuries and a death
involving the 2012 Ford Focus is “very significant and is certainly
something N.H.T.S.A. should address.”
Mr. Trowbridge said the agency did not have enough information to warrant
opening a formal investigation, but is monitoring the situation and “will
go wherever the information leads.”
At the center of the concern is the car’s power steering. That system,
which was introduced on the Focus for the 2012 model year, uses an electric
motor instead of a hydraulic pump. Automakers say it improves fuel economy
and performance.
But Ford has had problems with the steering system in the Focus. Twice it
alerted dealers about a potential problem through a notice called a
technical service bulletin. Those notices allow an automaker to tell dealers
, and sometimes car owners, about how to handle a problem it does not
consider a safety issue. Safety issues must be handled with a recall.
In May 2011, Ford sent dealers a technical service bulletin warning that the
new 2012 Focus could temporarily lose the electric power assist when the
vehicle was started. It did not say the steering might be lost while the
vehicle was moving. Then in February 2012, Ford sent another bulletin to
dealers saying owners might complain about “a steering wander at speeds
over 45 miles per hour.”
At this time, Ford was also telling regulators of the injuries or deaths
related to steering through the safety agency’s Early Warning Reporting
system. Automakers are required to disclose claims they receive that blame
vehicle defects for serious injuries or deaths.
Ford’s problems with its power steering extend beyond the Focus.
In the last 19 months, Ford has recalled about 1.3 million other cars or
trucks in the United States because of power steering issues. Those include
the 2008-11 Escape, 2011-12 Fusion and 2011-13 Explorer.
Those recalls came after Transport Canada, the counterpart to the American
safety agency, had started its own investigations into the power steering

The No. 2 U.S. automaker said it is recalling 518,313 Ford Fusion and
Lincoln MKZ sedans from model years 2013-2015 and Ford Edge crossover
vehicle from 2015 model year because steering gear motor attachment bolts
may break due to corrosion. In that case, the steering system would default
to manual mode, making it more difficult to steer, especially at lower
speeds.
While no total loss of steering would occur, the problem could increase the
risk of a crash, Ford said.
Ford said it was not aware of any accidents or injuries in the recall. Of
the affected vehicles, 487,301 are in the United States and its territories,
and 31,012 in Canada.
Dealers will replace the bolts and any damaged steering gear at no cost,
Ford said. Customers located in non-corrosion states or provinces will be
covered by an extended warranty.
Ford also recalled 50,157 Ford Focus, Edge Escape and Transit Connect
vehicles from 2014 model year and Fiesta cars from 2014-2015 model years
because of a nickel plating issue that could cause the fuel pump to seize.
That could cause the vehicle to fail to start or to stall while driving.
Ford said it was aware of one incident that may be related to this issue.
Of the recalled vehicles, 45,505 vehicles are in the United States, 4,618
are in Canada and 34 are in Mexico. Dealers will replace the fuel delivery
module.

parking lamps may be brighter than regulations allow, adversely affecting
the vision of oncoming drivers. Of the affected vehicles, 21,435 are in the
United States, 1,066 are in Canada and 115 are in Mexico.
Dealers will update software that controls the intensity of the lamps. Ford
said it was not aware of any accidents or injuries related to the issue.
Ford also recalled 91 Ford F-150 pickup trucks from model year 2015 for
potential underbody heat shield issues that increase the risk of a fire. Of
the affected vehicles, 73 are in the United States and 18 in Canada.
Dealers will install missing parts as needed. Ford said it was not aware of
any accidents or injuries.
