Question: It appears that license plate numbers will be hard to read in the
night vision version. Can you freeze-frame and zoom in on the video upon
playback?
Answer: With the right software you can. The problem with getting a clear
license plate is the size of the plate relative to everything else. You need
a minimum of 70~100 or so pixels of vertical height to get a readable image
. Of course, the image can't be blown out with reflected light on that plate
. This cam has a vertical height of 1080 pixels-- so if the car is farther
away, the wide angle lens on the cam means the size of the plate is just not
be big enough to read.
Zooming in does not increase how many pixels are used to show the plate. If
you have ever zoomed in on a photo to the pixel level you know that it just
won't get any clearer than that, and if a given object is too small in the
picture, it won't be clear. Typically, in the daytime I can read plates
about 2 car lengths away. At night, I often need to be within 1 car length
just because of the lights reflecting off the plate. Hope that makes sense.
Look at the "Drunk or Not" video on my channel. You don't really see the

图像的宽度是多少，量一下你的车牌有多大，算算车牌在你录像上能摊到多少个pixel。
简单的说五米之外行进中肯定都看不清车牌，这是1080p的局限，跟品牌质量无关。不
信你买个500块的试试。
