Cell phone footage captures the moment a Toyota Camry ignores the warning
signals and drives into the path of a freight train in Buechel, Kentucky on
March 14, 2015. Two people on the passenger side of the car were killed
instantly, while the driver and another passenger were critically injured.
The Camry was pushed at least a mile down the track.

的当时（2006年）在同类型甚至高一档车型中都是最好的。比当时的奔驰E-class（
W211）和 2007 Volvo S80还要牛逼：

车迷版分析过这个问题。据说是因为当时侧撞标准刚刚出台时间不长，丰田还来不及把
应试技巧研究透彻，但又要在测试中拿G，所以一不小心下了猛料。2012以后的现款
Camry侧撞成绩远不如上一代。
另外这起事故中，注意火车机车正前方有一个向前突出的牵引钩。这个铁疙瘩高度基本
相当于Camry的车窗（偏上一点）的位置。碰撞后直接插入车厢，估计直接把其中一个
passenger side乘客脑袋撞碎。
