market的差别大么？保险只cover off-market的。但是车主觉得玻璃还是原配的好，好
像价钱差一倍的样子。需要out of pocket 大概180 假如factory glass。各位有见解

glass--an off-market one, or a factory one. The latter, I will need to pay
out of pocket cost. The off-market one, it's all covered by insurance.

online, I had an impression that those two do have variations quality wise.
Considering the windshield accounts for 70% of the safety of a car, I asked
the previous question. Logo does not matter that much to me, unless it
means better quality.

保险公司。其实原厂的也是OEM（贴牌）的了，哪个厂自己产玻璃。你要知道是具体那
个厂帮VW代工生产的玻璃，搞到他们家的玻璃也不错了，不过不算严格意义上的after-
market。 |

发帖数: 13 | 9 Thank you DT770 for your answer. That is very inspiring. I use Geico, and
the insurance has been increasing at every renewal which happens every half
a year. Their default is to use off-market glass.
It will be super to find out the OEM factory. I am wondering how. Safelite
is the default auto glass with Geico. There are some bad reviews about the
service, but I am not sure about the glass quality. I finally decide to go
with a local glass shop.
Would you mind sharing your insurance company information?
