whole selling price amount (paid to the dealer). At the end of the lease, it
's lending you the residual value amount (until you return your car, which
offsets it completely).
The principal is reduced equally each month (by depreciation). So on average
you're borrowing (selling price + residual value) / 2 from the financing
company. Therefore the monthly interest is
(selling price + residual value) / 2 * interest% / 12
= (selling price + residual value) / 2 * (2400 * MF)% / 12
= (selling price + residual value) * MF
It's completely fair. |

发帖数: 163 | 6 The financing company sets a base MF rate but the dealer sometimes marks it
up to make more profit. You should insist on the base rate. It can't go
lower than that.
To answer LZ's other question, yes you need to pay tax on the interest part
too. But in a purchase, you pay interest on the tax (when you finance).
Paying tax on the interest and paying interest on the tax are equivalent.

I thought i only borrowed the diff btw negociated price and rv
In this case, leasing and financing has the same princeple, but just on
diferent payment schedule.
under the same interest rate, lease would pay more intrest than purchase(
financing), because you payback less principal each month. but you know your
trade in price.
