A woman died Sunday morning after the luxury SUV she was driving crashed
into multiple objects and overturned in Koreatown, according to the Los
Angeles Police Department.
The crash occurred on Western Avenue and Wilshire Boulevard (map) at
approximately 5:00 a.m., an emailed statement from the LAPD said.
The woman was driving southbound on Western Avenue in a black 2010 Mercedes
E350 when her vehicle went off the road and collided with multiple fixed
objects and into the back of a parked car, according to the statement.
The SUV continued on the sidewalk before it overturned and crashed into a
tree, authorities said.
She died at the scene, according to the statement. Her identity has not yet
been released.
No other occupants were in her vehicle.
