if the tire get nailed in the road, it is not covered by costco warranty.

to replace your old tire for free.

1.Costco Wholesale will repair tires
with tread-face injuries in accordance with established RMA (Rubber
Manufacturers
Association) standards.
2.This warranty provides credit based upon remaining usable tread at the
time of failure
due to road hazard.
On the other hand, discount tire's road hazard warranty also covers the
damage of the side wall. And if the tire is not repairable, they will just
replace with the new tire for free. But you have to pay for the road hazard
warranty of the new tire if you want to.

两个我都去过，无脑做托推荐前者；本版没有Costco托或者DiscountTire黑吧？
不过他们推荐的那些服务你要仔细想想，不一定值得买 |

可以在disountire（direct）网上选轮胎，直接ship到店里面
Costco只有几种型号可选，而且不准自带轮胎
Discountire和tirerack都有很多选择

发帖数: 287 | 13 The basic warranty of DT and costco is the same. However, DT provide the
Certificate for Refund, Repair or Replacement with the additional charge.
Here are the terms
If a tire covered by the Certificate for Refund, Repair or Replacement fails
due to a defect or an unrepairable road hazard, and still has legal tread (
3/32") remaining across the tire, and it has been in use less than 3 years
from date of purchase, Discount Tire will give a refund of the full purchase
price, together with the applicable sales tax and give you the option to
purchase the same new or comparable tire at the refund price, with the
payment of any applicable sales tax. There is no prorating, no
disqualification for any reason such as run-on damage and no mileage
adjustment.
If the single tire is more than $100, then it is worthwhile to buy
Certificate for Refund, Repair or Replacement. That means if you has even
one non-repairable tire, the cost of replacement will pay off the premium
warranty.
