Put the key in the ignition, but do not start the car. Find the trip meter
reset button on the dash board of the car.

With the engine off, depress the trip meter reset button and hold it for 10
seconds.

While still holding the trip meter reset button, turn the key and start the
engine. This should reset the light. If it does not reset, turn the car off
