我的车是2008 BMW 530i (E60)，电池现在充不上电，经检查需要换电池。
打电话问了local BMW dealer，说电池335刀，labor费600刀(需要re-program)，一共
将近1000刀。
请问是否有必要花费1000刀换这个电池呢？如果去其他修车店直接买来电池接上不知行
不行？

but you can always do it in a cheaper way, only if you know how to do it.
There are software out there you can use to program your e60, in this case,
you need to program the car to take the new battery as a new battery in
order to charge it correctly.
There are people who just replace the battery with an aftermarket one and do
just fine.

I haven't done it, so i don't have more details. You will need some
hardware, a PC running winXP, a USB-ODB2 cable etc.
It is all depending on if you want to pay someone to do it or do it yourself. |

你可以直接买电池自己换，但是你的新电池不长久，因为computer还是按照老电池去用
和charge它。而且可能还会有其他的问题。
所以才需要reprogram |

it is not easy, IF you want to do exact same thing as the dealership. You
need a computer that runs BMW programming software, and a cable to talk to
your car. YES you might screw up your car.
it is easy if you just replace it - don't blame me if your new battery still
does not work properly.
(in my opinion, it is worth a try, Autozone battery only costs like $150 or
less?! so maybe $150 and some of your time will just fix the issue. There
are people who've done this w/o issues.)

You can always go to an indy shop to do it, not just the dealer.
the price maybe $500 or so.

i could never understand why after changing the battery, one would need to
re-program doors, windows, and etc to accept the new battery. Was someone in
BMW smoking pot when they decided to do this? They actually programmed
their windows, doors, and etc to not to work with a new battery? What kind
of backward technology is that? The very concept of "re-programming" simply
didn't make any sense to me. It is a total rip-off...
In my case, after the battery change, it took another 3 trips to the dealer
to get everything working correctly again. They told me it was because the
re-programming had an issue.. whatever that means...
after that experience, i sold the bmw the following week and got myself an
Acura instead. Before buying the Acura, I asked a friends of mine who has
own an acura MDX for 8 year if he had ever changed the car battery. He told
me that he changed his MDX battery a year ago. He called AAA for do the
change and the total cost was $75...

的车了。
所以这额外的800其实是3年防盗险。

warranty" sticker on the battery. So she took the car back to dealer and got
a replacement for free. You might want to check your battery to see whether
you have the same warranty. As far as I know, a few other TSX and RL have
the same coverage.

dealer那里的软件网上有破解了下载的,ebay三四十块钱买根cable接个笔记本你自己就
能program

保养。

边的一家专做BMW的workshop换后雨刷，配件60，工钱50，工时比dealer便宜30%。 |

相对日本人有些方面没那么矫情啊，我的奇瑞王在dealer换了个电池（原来的也没坏就
是可能稍微老化了点，3年多了），因为还在4年warranty内，只收了个材料费，80块钱
，当时我还犹豫了一下来着，现在看跟白送一样啊。 |

话说某人说有芯片在电池里面，我想知道有多少条线连到电池上面？
如果电池断电以后，会掉记忆，我在上面的办法是可行的。

有超级计算机也没法解码

能？第一个功能对电池的连续放电能力有很大要求，第二个基本上就是一个迷你hybrid
，对充电电路和电池的状态也有严格要求，所以换了电池必须对充电电路重新编程。
