发帖数: 34 | 1 I bought a new black OUTBACK from a local Subaru dealer one week ago. I
found two scratches on the car in the first day: one two-inch long scratch
on the passenger side door next to the handle (hair-thin and deep), the
other on the front frame which is not so deep. Brought back to dealership
the next day. The dealer put on some compound on the scratches making them
not very noticeable. However, those compounds was washed away in the rain. I
brought the car back again today, and the dealer said they would use some
solutions.They even washed the car and the scratches seems mostly gone.I
looked at the car this evening and found the paint on the handle was sanded
off (very obvious) and the scratch places they fixed show different color
depth. The dealer said he is gonna to take care of it tomorrow, but I really
doubted it. The dealership has pretty bad reviews on Google rating. I
bought the car from them just because it is very close to my house. What can

发帖数: 2045 | 7 Shoddy paint job for sure. Dealers usually don't have body shops but they
have insurance that can cover a paint job for the car and doesn't cost them
much, if at all. This dealer just cheaped out. You need to stick it to them,
demand a fix by body shop.
Also start documenting everything: take pics, write emails, anything written
in case you need to fight them on small claims court. Also complain to
Subaru headquarter directly. You may even cite Lemon law on this.
Don't worry. A body shop can fix it to new condition for sure. At this point
they'll probably need to repaint and color sand/blending, which is almost $
1,000. So prepare a fight with the dealer.

irreparable. Definitely needs a repaint. | u*****t
