决定了买ML 350, 加Premium 1, lane tracking 和wood steering wheel 后MSRP大概
在$55,600. 昨天和dealer 讲价, 心理价位是 $48,000-$49,000, 今天dealer问了
manager后说降到$52,900, 说要想再降的话需要有evidence来support our price.
请问这里的有经验的大家,应当怎么样来讲价, 有什么技巧吗?我的心理价位合适吗?

拿52,900这个价格找别的dealer去beat,然后再回来beat,几个来回你自己看着办。看
差不多接近心里价位了就下手。

dealer 给的就是靠近invoice的价格,对于4matic来说基本就差不多了, bluetec更高。

我要的是普通的黑色, 不加价。 但是dealer找到的车多多少少会带一点我本来没要的
功能, 比如keyless to go.

哦,如果你要的是现车,应该dealer还可以讲一点。他们成本要低一些。

没怎么研究,但是52900应该不可能close dealer的invoice。msrp - invoice = 2700
,这dealer也太惨了。
继续杀。

讲价要恨,打个比方
比如第一个回合出48K (你的底线减去1K), 有可能low ball了,dealer让你走人,
你换个dealer开49K,让 dealer counter,只要dealer能counter,就有希望
俩个回合后接近你的心理底线后
cut the cheese, 比如50K, take it or leave it, 成交很好,不成交换dealer, 也许
可以调整成50.5K 作为target
网上详细功略很多,实战几次就知道怎么回事了,关键别盯着一个dealer的一辆车非买
不可,那就被动了,真是要那么喜欢特定的那辆,多花2K也值得了

If you are not hurry, wait for a while. Just tell dealer to call you
whenever they can meet your expected price. 7k off ML is very doable.

Welcome aboard!
(1) Please make sure if the dealer only sales MB or other brands else. If it sales many brands, odds are its sales records of MB cannot guarantee them to get better discount from MB, thus, their holdback % will be low. The holdback % means the % profit going to dealers’ pocket after selling a car. It depends on different manufactures, and the most importantly, the sales record of the dealer. It should be around 6-10% for MB. You can get more information about“holdback %” online.
(2) Which car are you driving? If your car belongs to some luxury brands, you are guaranteed to get ‘Conquest cash’ $2000 from MB. The dealer will be more than happy to knock it from MSRP because they don’t lose anything.
(3) Is your company affiliated with MB? There is a fleet program (check out MBUSA.com for more details) which allows dealers to knock off $1500.
(4) If you hold (2) and (3), try to negotiate with the dealer to get both.
(5) There are many allowance programs that enable MB dealers to knock off $$$ from MSRP such as loyalty cash, military, MB club membership, student incentive, etc... Try to talk to the dealer patiently to find out more programs suitable for you. If the dealer is not greedy (too much I mean :) ), they will help you to get business done. It is a w-w situation.
(6) Trade-in saves you money on Tax. Just keep it in your mind. Do not talk about it UNTIL you nail down the final price of your new ML350.

To be honest, I don’t know. It depends on each individual case.
You might want to check out the car in their parking lot. As some friends
pointed already, those cars are easier to get barging chip.
Again, please do not expose your craving too much to the dealer. They will
check you out weekly to make sure you are still on the market. I personally
don’t like this kind of push. Be firm about what you want, but also be flexible about your options, including more dealers, longer shopping radius, longer waiting period, or even different brand.
Kindly remind that maintenance cost of luxury car is sky high. People
usually drive it out of the service period and then switch to the next one
in order to avoid such a hassle. You might want to include such ‘hidden’
expense into your budget.
