发帖数: 5697 | 1 TORRANCE, Calif. (KTLA) -- The driver of a stolen car died after crashing at
the end of a short pursuit early Friday morning, Torrance police said.
At around 2:15 a.m. Friday, Torrance officers came across a red Volvo
station wagon that had been reported stolen.
They attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the female driver refused to
stop.

She led officers on a pursuit that lasted only about two minutes, but
reached speeds in excess of 100 mph, police said.
The pursuit ended when the driver lost control and crashed into a tree in
the 2600 block of Pacific Coast Highway.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner had to extricate
the woman's body form the car.
Police have not released her identity.
There was no one else inside the vehicle. |
