1、我现在还没有工资收入，能不能办理SSN呢？
2、没有SSN能去参加驾照的考试吗？还是用老公的SSN去考试？那会不会跟老公考驾照
有冲突呢？

I also hold J2. There is not any problem for J2 to get DL.
I remember, first go to international affairs or international center,
consult this issue. The staff will be very professional. They will tell you
what to do next.
Then you could go to local USCIS office to get one certificate, which name I
could not remember exaxtly. Just for person without SSN.
Then hold that certificate to get blue letter. Then take blue letter to get
permit.If possible, ask for the Chinese Edition paper to complete. The blue
letter office and permit office are always locate at two different places,
at least my city is.
Then just enjoy it | l****p
