发帖数: 52 | 1 I would like to have some legal advice with my recent purchase of Toyota
Camry. The story is like this:
On August 13, I went to Michael's Toyota of Bellevue, and I signed an
agreement with them regarding trading in my car and purchasing a Toyota
Camry 2011 with them. But the new car was not available at lot then, so I
drove my old car back.
On August 16, there was a finance person from Michael's Toyota and asked me
about a billing letter to prove my address, during the conversation, I asked
whether I could cancel the purchase, he replied "yeah, you can take out the
deal". Since I want to get the new car right away, I emailed the sale guy
that I would cancel my order, and he said there would be another agent
contacting me. However, I waited for two days and the guy he mentioned in
the email never called. So I went to Lake city Toyota car dealership ,
traded in my car and bought a new car from them.
However, yesterday, I received a phone call from Michael's Toyota that I
need pick up the new car, and on the phone, I told them I bought a new car
already and will not pick the car. After that, I have received 2 another
phone calls, one from another sale agent and one from the manager. Three of
them bullied me on the phone, and insisted me to pick up the new car,
otherwise, they will take the legal action, sending me lawyer letters and
take me to the court. And at the end, they requested me to go to their car
dealership within 24 hours which meaned I need go there by the end of today.
But they have already bullied me on the phone, I am so afraid if I go there
after work by myself, I would be bullied again. I just wonder what right I
can have to protect myself and cancel the contract without being sued.
As a consumer, I feel scared, threaten and hopeless now. Please help me!!!!! |

发帖数: 52 | 9 The reason I went ahead and got another car is that I was told by the
financial person from the first car dealer that it was OK for me
to take out the deal. I thought since he told me so and the second car
dealer said there was no problem as well because they met same
situations before, plus I never picked up the new car and didn't make
any deposit to make special order.
Here is what I have done:
1. called consumer protection at State of Washington, asking for your
legal right regarding the binding contract. The lesson is that NEVER
TAKE WORDS FROM MOUTH.
2. called Toyota customer relationship service and asked for their help
to resolve this confliction.
3. Called Bellevue consumer protection organization, and asking their
help to assist you.
The worst case for me is to default the purchase and hurt my credit for
7 years. I am not gonna make any compromise with all those scums.
Thank you all for the advice, but I guess I need more constructive
suggestion. |

B买了，结果现在A的车也到了让去买，不买就起诉。
明明两句话就说清的事非得写上又破又长的几大段英文，你还真不着急。。。找个律师

weekend 去比较好，他们很忙，也不想你去make a scene，反正只要你不妥协，dealer
也拿你没办法。
我英文是不好，有三个盛事临人的sale managers同时开火，我确实招架不住。不过只
要知道大不了你可以default the contract，就不那么没底了。
anyway，弄个教训也好。下次再不一个人去dealer那了，很容易就被说服签合同。 |

can revoke the offer, such as if you are dead, or there is material
difference in the goods you were offered, etc.
you really have no good defense in this case.
but I dont see any reason they want to sue you. it makes no sense.

我不想问你来美国几年，读什么program有什么工作之类。我只是觉得一个思维正常的
人类不会说这种话。
