发帖数: 104 | 1 我今天去看中一辆二手车，2005 HONDA ACCORD,查了VIN# CARFAX的VIN 有如下记录，
05/21/2011 Registration issue or renewed,
Loan or lien reported.
我就很奇怪了，难道这车LOAN 没还清？！但车主说LOAN已经TOTALLY PAID OFF,而且还
给我展示了他的TITLE PAPER.
难道是车主付清了银行的LOAN,但又拿车去做抵押贷款，套上新的LOAN了？
如果我买了这部车，TITLE转给我了，LOAN也会套我头上？？
哎，买车真麻烦，请教板上大牛了。

paid off, ask him to show lien release letter.
If lien is not released, you can buy the car but cannot transfer title at all.

发帖数: 473 | 8 Re! I still have a lien holder on my car title but I got the release letter
from the lien holder after I paid off the loan. if you can get both, you
should be able to transfer the title. in fact, after I paid off the loan, I
went to the local office and ask for the title transfer but the staff over
there told me no need to spend money on transferring the title if the only
purpose of that is to remove the lien holder from the title.

录会不会有什么猫腻，我问他有什么release letter吗？他说还清后，银行把title给
他，如果我不信，可以和他到bank问。现在我整的很晕，不知哪位大牛能破解一下？十

还提醒我了，这是不是很不正常？关键是他老是强调能陪我转成title，我现在搞的头
晕脑胀！

回LZ：dsb和xuxuxu已经解释得很明白了，tiantian那是不懂装懂的屁话。只要能在DMV
转title就没有问题。
