Once the CV boots have failed (unless you were watching when it happened)
the cv joint inside has gone bad
from grit and running dry. Don't mess with an individual CV joint. Replacing
the whole axle makes much more
sense in the long run, since it is actualy less effort and you will end up
with a new axle and 2 new CV joints.
The axle half-shaft includes both CV joints for that side of the vehicle.

cv boot就是那个胶皮；cv axle就是我们说的驱动轴或者说驱动杆；
CV AXLE连接你的transmission到你的轮子上，产生驱动力，你有两根axle到两个轮子
上，half axle上有两个joint，每个joint上都有boot盖住，里面有润滑油；所以你有
左右两根axle,共4个boot.
cv boot就$30,half axle $80. 你的情况只能换axle. | l*****t
