For me, I saw a lot of rumors that synthetic oil may leak the old engine
because it is finer. I am not sure about this. But for an old car, buying
synthetic oil seems to be at least a waste of money. Oil is used to protect
the engine and usually won't give you a huge performance increase. So as
long as the owner changse the oil regularly there is no reason to bother himself
with the potential risk of oil leak by buying more expensive synthetic oil,
not to say whether

发帖数: 3081 | 11 这个有道理， 只要是半年或者3到5千mile 换一次机油，没必要用synthentic.
不过如果是1年或者7千5mile换一次机油，还是上synthentic的好。
