我最近也申请了交通部的Graduate Program,不知版主能否给点建议。
人事部门的人给我发的筛选过程如下：
Following the initial shortlisting, information sessions and testing will be
conducted in capital cities to further shortlist candidates for interview.
The type of testing has not yet been finalised, however it is likely to be
in the form of verbal and numerical critical reasoning tests and a written
analytical test. Successful Candidates to this phase are strongly

发帖数: 1481 | 2 我参加过两个政府部门的面试，一个是现在上班的centrelink,一个是DEWR department
of employment and work relationship 两个的面试都不同
看你的这封信应该按照centrelink的办法
当时我的这些都是一个上午完成的，先考半个钟头的笔试，给了一个pseudo code让我找
错误，小意思，然后是一个问答题，说如果系统升级，你给老板的报告要怎么写,我就
写要客观分析正负影响，还没finish就到点了。然后是共3部分，2个钟头的所谓
anlysis test,和GRE的分析部分差不多，考考智商啰，什么下面一个图片是什么啦？
那个数字不同啦，blablah,然后是1个钟头的和人聊天，什么objective啦，做过什
么project啦，team work啦，老套路，兵来将当，水来土囤，注意偶尔来点幽默的
东东，非常有效。漫漫3个半小时终于搞定，面试完去个洗手间先。
DEWR的又不一样，是通过闭路电视和在堪培拉的人聊天，一个一个来，先是HR的人
问问那些老土的问题，为什么申请DEWR啦(废话，找不到工作呀!)?用3个次形容自己

发帖数: 1481 | 3 政府工的工资是定死的，各个部门定的不同，但是差不太多
差个2，3千，graduate不管哪里毕业都一样多钱（我认识
有的graduate其实工作了好几年的，但是正是找不到工作，
graduate的工资他们也做）
悉尼比堪培拉当然要热闹一些，不过反正在悉尼也是寂寞
堪培拉也是寂寞，所以没所谓了，就好象N和N+1,当N趋于
无穷大的时候，N和N+1没什么差别呀

发帖数: 1481 | 4 堪培拉没有唐人街，但是有一条中国人集中的商业区
一直没有正名为唐人街，是说因为其他的什么越南阿如果有了唐人街也
要搞越人街，所以最后没给唐人街的名字，但是大家都是指都那里是中国人的地盘 |
